Welcome to U.S. Probation for the Southern District of New York. All individuals who are sentenced to a period of probation or supervised release are required to report within seventy-two (72) hours of their sentence or release. Part of the process for reporting requires Intake Processing so that we can verify contact information about you, activate your supervision in our district and get you on your way to a successful term of supervision. This process will also inform you of what the expectations are for supervision and answer any general questions. Please refer to the following information for instructions on reporting to one of our offices located in the Daniel Patrick Moynihan Courthouse or the Charles L. Brieant Courthouse in White Plains.
