September 21, 2009UPDATE - Almost all of the site visits & responsibility determinations have been concluded. We will now finalize the determinations for technical acceptability and compute life of agreement costs. Those vendors who have been determined to be technically acceptable, and have submitted prices which are computed to be the lowest over the maximum life of the agreement will be awarded BPAs. Note: Section B of each RFP states how many vendors we expect to award in each area. The total number of vendors awarded agreements in each BPA will be determined by us, based upon our need. We hope to be able to announce the awards by September 25, 2009, in order to be able to aid transitions to and from treatment for clients. We appreciate your patience in this matter. Thank you, Kevin R. Mulcahy | ||||

May 7, 2009On April, 30 & May 1, 2009 we hosted Pre Solicitation Conferences in both Manhattan & Middletown in preparation for the upcoming treatment services solicitation. The conferences provided potential new vendors with an overview of the solicitation process and introduced some of the changes and new services we are considering to our incumbent vendors. The interest & turnout was considerable, which will give us many options when the solicitation officially begins later this month. At this time, I would like to thank all that attended and the folks that were unable to attend, but have indicated their interest, and have been added to our "interested vendors" list. After receiving much feedback from those who attended, the overall consensus is that these conferences were an overwhelming success and I look forward to seeing everyone at the offeror's conference on a date this Summer yet to be determined. Please be aware that the FIRST step in the solicitation process is just weeks away, as the Administrative Office (AO) will be posting an advertisement, seeking treatment providers, on the website: FBO.GOV. So please be on the look-out. Click Here for the Pre-Solicitation Participant list Thank you, Kevin R. Mulcahy |
